This property is an attractive 4 bedroom 2 story villa and benefits from having 2 master bedrooms and fully enclosed screened in pool and jacuzzi. Master Bedroom: King size bed, patio doors to pool area, walk in closet, 20" flat screen TV. Master Bathroom: Shower, twin basins, WC Bedroom 2: Queen size bed, walk in closet. En-suite: Corner tub, single basin, shower, WC Bedroom 3: Twin beds, double closet. Bedroom 4: Twin beds, double closet. Family Bathroom: Bath/shower, single basin, WC. Lounge: 3 seater and two seater, 27" TV, DVD player. Dining: Seats 6 Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen, CD player, bar area seating 2
As far as the house, very nice, clean except for the carpet in the main level near the entrance. Nice touch by having the essentials in the fridge and cupboards for the first day breakfast. Watch out for the extra expense to pay for a heated pool, ($35.00 per day for one with natural gas heat). During this time of year, weather is cool, which results in the pool taking longer to heat up. We paid $245.00 in advance (7 days x $35.00), and were not able to use the pool for the first 2 and a half days, because the water was cold. When Eagle Management Operations Manager was approached about reimbursing the money for 3 of those cold water days, the answer was "no, because that is our policy". Keep in mind that on weekends, the office is closed at noon on Saturdays, and not at all on Sundays, and pool heat does not fall under their definition of an "emergency". She explained that it takes time for the pool to heat up, and that we actually were paying for the pool heater to be on, and not necessarily the using of the pool??? Then why did I pay for 7 days for a pool that I could only use for 4 and a half? It is because of this that we would not recommend Eagle Management. It is not because of the house, but because of the Operations Manager.
Thanks for sharing your opinion, Pool heaters will work the same way no matter what company manages the home and the policy not to make any refunds on pool heating you will find is a general one with all companies. Pool heating if GAS will take 8 hours or more to heat depending on the outside ambient temperature. pool heaters will typically heat water to about 10 degrees above ambient air temperatures; we have to charge for the gas usage. Unfortunately your travel dates coincided with a cold front and it took a bit longer than normal to heat up the pool water.
The home was amazing, it worked extremely well for our family and gave everyone plenty of privacy with the flexibility of swimming and relaxing whenever we wanted. We were able to keep our laundry done.Our only issues were checking in and not knowing where the alarm pad was located and the alarm going off. Not enough towels and facecloths for the amount of people staying there. The carpets could have been cleaned. The welcome basket was an added bonus. We found the home a little warm but overall our experience was excellent and we will definetly be back again. Thanks for making our vacation perfect !!!
Thanks for the comments, we try to keep 2 towels per guest that the home sleeps. Face cloths are not provided as these tend to be used by guests to wash things and also to clean spills, etc. There are some in the homes that have been left by previous guests. Carpets are one of the things that are always having to be cleaned every so many months due to the high traffic marks created by guests especially in homes rented very frequently. If we could wash the carpets before each arrival we would but this is a cost to the Owner and must be approved and funded by them before we can clean the carpets. We hope to have you back soon.
Referred to them by Elite Vacations. Initially very pleased but found the on-site maintenance staff not very responsive. Had to make several phone calls and follow ups to get issues addressed. Also, found the office staff at times rude and forgetful. I had to repeat previous conversations and remind the staff of their promises in the past to refresh their memory. Not sure if they were stressed because of the busy Holiday Season or their phone problem issue.
We had phone lines down for 2 days over the Holiday Season, this could not have happened at a worst time. we apologize for all clients that encountered communication issues with our offices and have a back-up plan to have phones re-routed to the managers cellphone should this ever happen gain.
